Energy Star伺服器資格準則 (Energy Star for Computer Servers)，第4.0版發行

根據美國EPA於2023年4月12日發佈的伺服器資格準則 (Computer Servers)，第4.0版，對Energy Star 伺服器資格準則重點實施方式如下:

一、對於使用的Power Supply (PSU)能效要求更高，Multi-output 需使用為80 PLUS Gold等級或以上等級。另Single-output PSU需使用80 PLUS Platinum等級或以上等級;

二、新增Storage Heavy Server (SHS) 及Hyperconverged Server 說明;

6) Storage Heavy Server (SHS): A computer server with greater storage capacity than a standard computer server. As shipped, these computer servers support 30 or more internal storage devices. These servers differ from Storage Products in that they run computer server operating systems and software stacks.

9) Hyperconverged Server: A highly integrated server which contains the additional features of large network equipment and storage products.

 

三、新增2項Energy Star 伺服器資格準則除外產品；

- Computer Servers which are only shipped with at least one APA

- Hyperconverged Servers

四、調整Active State (Eff_active) 限制值;

五、採用最新版SERT程式做為Active State試驗程式; 目前為SERT v2.0.6

六、Energy Star 伺服器資格準則 (Computer Servers)，第4.0版生效日為January 12, 2024;

Energy Star伺服器資格準則 (Computer Servers)，第4.0版發行後VTC宏爗科技可以測試，但由於對應新版QPX form尚未發行，建議廠商可以先進行V4.0能效測試，待QPX form發行後，就可以向CBs申請取得ES認證。

舊版Energy Star伺服器資格準則，第3.0版新申請案可以認證至August 30, 2023。
